Runström Not Keen - Ipswich Town News

Hammarby striker Björn Runström says he is not keen on a move to the Championship. The 21-year-old Swede was linked with the Blues over the weekend but appears more interested in remaining in Sweden or moving elsewhere in Europe.

The U21 international says he's not excited by the prospect of playing Championship football: "It seems a bit dull."

The frontman or winger, who spent time in Italy as a young player, adds that he is yet to be contacted by the Blues regarding their reported interest: "I haven't personally heard anything from Ipswich."

Runström, out of contract later this month, has been linked with a move away from Sweden this winter but says he will hold talks regarding a new deal with Hammarby: "We will meet at the end of the season. There are only two games left so we will sit down and talk soon."

If the Blues are interested in the Swede, as was widely reported over the weekend, it is likely he will be invited for a trial ahead of the January transfer window.
