Nash Close to Return - Ipswich Town News
Young defender Gerard Nash is on the way back after his latest spell on the sidelines with injury. Nash has been out of action with a knee problem unrelated to the cruciate ligament operations he underwent earlier in his career.
The 19-year-old Irishman told the club site that he is looking forward to playing some games: "I've had four months of rehab and worked hard recently with a lot of running.
"It's been like pre-season for me over the last few weeks but now I can concentrate on the enjoyable side of the game.
"Hopefully I'll be back playing matches in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. I have not played that many games over the last two years and my main target at the moment is to play as much football as possible."
