Westy Making Progress - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Ian Westlake is making quicker than expected progress after injuring his ankle in training last month. The Clacton-born player could now be back in action as soon as November.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Westy will see a specialist on Thursday and we will know more then, but it's looking good at the moment.
"He is ahead of schedule and has been running this week and moving forward all the time.
"We don't want to say too much before the specialist has a look, but we're not expecting any problems and he should be back in training in a couple of weeks.
"After that you are talking about how quickly he can regain his match fitness."
