Joe Waiting on Loans - Ipswich Town News
Town's search for loan players continues despite the signing of Adam Proudlock on a three-month spell. However, boss Joe Royle is refusing to comment on players linked with short-term moves to Portman Road.
Former skipper Matt Holland is the latest name to be mentioned, although his wages at Charlton would appear to put him well beyond the club's financial reach.
Royle says that he'll comment on future loan signings once the deals have been done: "I'm fed up with denying or confirming, so if you want to throw Matt Holland in the hat I'm delighted. I don't want to go there.
"We're still waiting. Let me tell you when we've got someone."
Despite Proudlock's signing, Royle says there are funds in place to bring in one or perhaps two loanees depending on wages.
