London Branch AGM - Ipswich Town News

The AGM of the London Branch of the Supporters' Club will take place on Wednesday, 19th October. The guest speakers at the meeting are goalkeeper coach Andy Rhodes and his current charges, Lewis Price and Shane Supple.

The trio will be talking about all aspects of ITFC, from youth to first team to coaching and on to the general mood and progress of the season (from 7.45pm).

The meeting is at The Lamb, Leadenhall Market (which doubles up as Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter films). The bar will be open from 6pm, with the formal business starting at 7.30pm.

Entrance is free (just like branch membership), but there will be a raffle for branch funds with a first prize of an ITFC football signed by the current first team squad.

There will also be a chance to buy an official FA Youth Cup Winners badge for £5, produced jointly by the Ipswich Town Academy and Ipswich Town Ist. All proceeds go to the Academy. These are also available online here.

The London Branch currently has more than 180 members. As a supporters' club, our aim is to encourage all fans to enjoy their experience of following the club - we can't do a lot about results, but we can have a great day out and enjoy being part of the ITFC community, even if we are not Ipswich-based.

Our activities include travel and hotel advice for home and away games, pub meet-ups at away games, train meet-ups to and from away games, year-round socials in the central London area, centralised news and contact point for London-based Blues
the most successful sporting team to represent ITFC in the last three years - the ITFC London Darts team!
