Norwegian on Trial - Ipswich Town News

Norwegian Vemund Brekke Skard is joining the Blues on a week's trial from Sunday. Skard is a midfielder who plays in his native country for second division side Brumunddal.

The 24-year-old impressed a Town scout who was in Norway to watch another player in action for Oslo Ã˜st against Brumunddal on Sunday.

Skard says he is not coming to England expecting to win himself a deal: "I don't know what is going to happen. I see it as a good opportunity and a pleasant experience."
