Second Fletcher Bid? - Ipswich Town News
Town are reported to have made a second unsuccessful loan bid for West Ham midfielder Carl Fletcher. TWTD suggested yesterday that the former Bournemouth man could be a player targeted by boss Joe Royle now he has left Watford.
The Blues enquired about Fletcher prior to his one-month move to Vicarage Road which ended this week. Royle is keen to add a player to his squad as cover for the injured Ian Westlake who is expected to be out of action until December.
