Trust Meet With Board - Ipswich Town News
The Ipswich Town Independent Supporters Trust were guests at the the club's board meeting on Thursday. Amongst other matters, the board expressed their concern at the recent supporter discontent but chairman David Sheepshanks felt fans do have a right to protest.
However, the board were particularly unhappy with the recent booing of some players and revealed that some players have said they prefer to play away from home at present.
The club's finances have come under much scrutiny in recent years and the Trust proposed that the club try to explain the current position more explicitly and produce a plain English version of their annual report and accounts.
Minutes from the meeting can be found here.
