Reserves Face Watford - Ipswich Town News
Town's reserves take on Watford's second string at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm). Irish defender Gerard Nash is continuing his recovery after undergoing a cartilage operation during the summer.
Nash, 19 made his reserves comeback as a second half sub in the 1-0 friendly defeat to Tottenham last week and is again likely to be used from the bench.
Town have named a young squad with Scott Barron, 20, the most senior player.
Watford's squad is also mainly youngsters, with 39-year-old Les Ferdinand providing experience.
Reserves: Shane Supple, Sammy Moore, James Krause, Liam Trotter, Aidan Collins, Chris Casement, Jaime Peters, Scott Barron, Billy Clarke, Danny Haynes, Liam Craig, Gerard Nash, Darryl Knights, Stuart Ainsley and Cathal Lordan.
