U18s Lose to Addicks - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s lost 3-2 to Charlton's youngsters at Playford Road on Saturday lunchtime. The Blues goals came from Stuart Ainsley - after just 36 seconds - and Darryl Knights.
All three Charlton goals were scored by striker Onome Sodje.
The game marked the first Town appearance of Icelandic goalkeeper Ã"skar Pétursson. The Iceland U17 international has spent the first few months of his time with the Blues recovering from a wrist injury he sustained over the summer.
Striker Darryl Knights was forced off with an ankle injury and may now be a doubt for the England U18 game in Turkey in 10 days.
The U16s beat Charlton 4-1, also at Playford Road.
