Reserves Face Chelsea - Ipswich Town News

Town's reserves take on Chelsea this evening at Aldershot Town's Recreation Ground (KO 7pm). Ian Westlake and Adam Proudlock are the most experienced players in the squad.

Westlake needs to get matches under his belt after the ankle injury which kept him out of action for almost two months. The Clacton-born player could be in line for a first team start when the Blues travel to Coventry a week on Saturday with Kevin Horlock missing out due to a one-match suspension.

Proudlock continues to work on his fitness, while Gerard Nash plays his third game since returning to action after his summer cartilage operation.

Steve McCall's side will be looking to replicate the excellent performance against Watford last week when they defeated the Hornets 8-1.

Reserves: Shane Supple, Sammy Moore, James Krause, Ian Westlake, Aidan Collins, Gerard Nash, Jaime Peters, Scott Barron, Billy Clarke, Adam Proudlock, Liam Craig, Danny Haynes, Liam Trotter, Chris Casement, Stuart Ainsley, Cathal Lordan.
