Loanee Williams Arrives - Ipswich Town News
New loan signing Gavin Williams said he was delighted to have joined the Blues after meeting up with the squad for training earlier today. The West Ham midfielder has signed a month's loan.
The 25-year-old told the club site: "It's great to be at a top club like Ipswich. When West Ham told me that Ipswich wanted me on loan, I jumped at the chance to come here.
"I know what Ipswich are all about; a big club, great fans, fantastic stadium and a team that likes to pass the ball around and play good football.
"I'm really looking forward to my time here. It's a new challenge for me and an opportunity to play first team football and help Ipswich move up the table."
Williams and keeper Lewis Price are likely to be named in John Toshack's full Wales squad on Thursday lunchtime.
