Mitchell Has Groin Op - Ipswich Town News
Youngster Scott Mitchell has undergone a groin operation and will be out of action until January. The defender or midfielder is yet to play this season after an ankle injury sustained in April required surgery in the summer.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "The ankle is fine now and Scott was back in training for two or three weeks before he started suffering with the groin problem.
"We took him to a specialist and it was found that he needed surgery to repair the groin.
"The operation has been a success and he should return to training around Christmas time."
