Clarke in Squad - Ipswich Town News

Academy striker Billy Clarke has been named in the Town squad for Monday's live Sky game at Cardiff City (Sky Sports One, KO 7.45pm). Clarke, 17, has impressed in the U18s and reserves this season.

Town name an 18-man party for the trip to Ninian Park with a number of players suffering from minor injury problems.

Ian Westlake is included in the squad despite hurting his foot in the reserve match at Charlton,
while Lewis Price, Jimmy Juan and Sito are also named despite slight finger, calf and ankle injuries respectively.

Striker Adam Proudlock is also in the squad after recovering from the knee injury he sustained in last week's reserve game with Spurs.

Proudlock could be the man to replace Sam Parkin up front, although Joe Royle has not ruled out using Richard Naylor up front.

Squad: Bowditch, Currie, Clarke, De Vos, Forster,
Horlock, Juan, Magilton, McEveley, Naylor, Price,
Proudlock, Richards, Sito, Supple, Westlake,
Williams, Wilnis.
