Duo on England Standby - Ipswich Town News

Academy youngsters Kurt Robinson and Ed Upson are on standby for the England U17 squad playing a friendly against Turkey at Notts County's Meadow Lane on December 13th.

Both Robinson, a full-back, and midfielder Upson are in the Town U18 squad facing Leeds at Elland Road this evening as they start their defence of the FA Youth Cup.

Upson, still a schoolboy, was the scorer of the winning goal in the second leg of last season's final.
