Barron in Squad - Ipswich Town News

Scott Barron and Billy Clarke are both included in the squad for Saturday's home game with Wolves. Jimmy Juan, Kevin Horlock and Nicky Forster have all been passed fit to face Glenn Hoddle's side.

All three had been doubts and missed training during the week. However, Ian Westlake and Owen Garvan are not yet ready to return and Fabian Wilnis is suspended for one match after his red card at Cardiff.

Sam Parkin is out for around four months after breaking his ankle, while Jay McEveley has left the club and his having surgery on his torn medial ligament this weekend. Norwegian signing Vemund Brekke Skard had an operation a fortnight ago on his injured groin and won't be available until January.

The absence of both McEveley and Wilnis means the Blues are short of left-backs. Barron comes in as cover with Matt Richards or Kevin Horlock, who played most of his early career at full-back, starting.

Clarke is again set to be on the bench with Adam Proudlock or Dean Bowditch expected to get the nod to play alongside Nicky Forster. Richard Naylor will move back into the defence after starting up front at Ninian Park.

Squad: Barron, Bowditch, Clarke, Currie, De Vos,
Forster, Horlock, Juan, Magilton, Naylor, Price,
Proudlock, Richards, Sito, Supple, Williams.
