Westy in Reserves - Ipswich Town News
Ian Westlake returns to action when the reserves take on Norwich at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm). The midfielder has been out of action since picking up a foot injury in the recent reserves game at Charlton.
Owen Garvan is on the bench as he continues his recovery after his ankle problem. Fellow Irishman Gerard Nash starts as he continues his comeback after a summer knee operation.
Central defender Russell Short is included in a reserves squad for the first time after an impressive display for the U18s in the FA Youth Cup win at Leeds last week. Short joined the Town academy from Cambridge United over the summer.
