McDonald Opens Account - Ipswich Town News

On-loan striker Dean McDonald broke his senior goals duck on Saturday as he netted the second as Hartlepool defeated Bournemouth 2-1 at Victoria Park. McDonald was making his fifth appearance for Pools having joined them on a one-month loan.

Saturday's game could be the former Arsenal trainee's last for Martin Scott's side as his loan is up prior to next week's match at Walsall. Town boss Joe Royle could allow McDonald to extend his stay and said last week that, despite Town's dearth of strikers, he was not yet thinking of recalling the 19-year-old.
