Bowditch on Mend - Ipswich Town News
Striker Dean Bowditch is hopeful he will be fit to face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday. The Blues are short of strikers with Adam Proudlock, who in any case still has a knee injury, unavailable for the Owls game under the terms of his loan and Sam Parkin out for three to four months with a broken ankle.
Bowditch, who missed the QPR game with an achilles injury, told the club site that he is on the mend: "It feels a lot better now and things are looking encouraging for the weekend.
"Hopefully, it will keep improving, I will be able to train fully at the end of the week and will be OK for the Sheffield Wednesday game."
