De Vos's Offside Worry - Ipswich Town News
Central defender Jason De Vos says he thought he was offside when he played the ball across the six-yard box for Nicky Forster to score the winning goal at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The former Canadian international was expecting to hear a whistle after Gavin Williams had found him with a ball back into the box after a corner: "I thought I was offside. I was waiting for the referee to blow his whistle but in situations like that you just play on until you hear the whistle.
"I knew the lads were queuing up in the centre of goal so I had to get the ball across as soon as I could and Nicky Forster has buried it into the corner."
