Spurs Made Skard Enquiry - Ipswich Town News
Chief scout Colin Suggett has revealed that Spurs made an enquiry regarding Town's new Norwegian signing Vemund Brekke Skard during his trial spell with the Blues. Midfielder Skard played in a reserves friendly against the North Londoners the day before he was offered his 18-month deal by the club.
Suggett said: "The day after that game we had Tottenham on the phone asking who he was and what his situation was."
Skard, who recently underwent a groin operation, will be eligible to play from January 2nd as long as all the paperwork goes through smoothly.
