Haynes Signs Deal - Ipswich Town News
Young midfielder or striker Danny Haynes has signed a professional deal with Town. The contract will keep the 17-year-old with the Blues until 2008.
Haynes, who was released by Charlton in 2004, told the club site: "It's the best Christmas present I've ever had, being offered a contract at Ipswich.
"I can't believe how things have changed around for me since I left Charlton.
"It's all happened so fast. I know injuries have opened the door for me here this season, but it's up to me to take my chance now and I'm determined to do so."
Haynes, in the Town U18 side which won the FA Youth Cup last season, has made two senior starts and five substitute appearances, scoring his first goal in the 2-2 draw with QPR.
