Sito Signs Up - Ipswich Town News
Spanish full-back Sito has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until June 2008. TWTD broke the news that the former Racing Club de Ferrol man was in talks over a new deal back in September.
The 25-year-old - real name Luis Castro RodrÃguez - told the club site: "I'm very pleased to be staying here at Ipswich for another three years.
"I'm really enjoying my football and the players and fans have made me feel very welcome here.
"Playing in front of 24,000 every week at Ipswich is great and when the fans sing my name it means so much to me. It gives me goose-bumps!
"I have only been in England a short time but I love the football here. It's fast and physical and passionate. I love the passion."
The La Coruña-born defender joined the Blues on a free transfer after a successful trial in the summer, signing a one-year contract.
