Gnohere at Istres - Ipswich Town News
Former Town trialist Arthur Gnohere is reported to be trying his luck at French club Istres. The ex-Burnley and QPR man spent time with the Blues before Christmas and his return to France would suggest that Town have ended their interest in the defender.
Boss Joe Royle continues to look for new players to recruit during the January transfer window with Cardiff frontman Alan Lee looking likely to join for a fee thought to be somewhere between £100,000 and £200,000.
Royle is also after a second striker on loan, but has put the signing of a left-sided defender on the back burner for the moment with Scott Barron impressing in recent matches. More trialists are expected at Portman Road before the end of the month.
