Town Media News - Ipswich Town News

East Anglia based Town fans will be able to see highlights on Anglia's Kick Off programme at 11.30 this evening. Sadly Sky are not planning to show either leg live, although we have discovered that the second leg may be live if the Liverpool-Palace tie is pretty much sorted during the first leg.

Footage of the Town-Sunderland game is featured this evening on the BBC's Black Dog tonight at 10.35. The programme aims to reduce the stigma about, and raise awareness of the illness clinical depression. The Portman Road coverage is included to emphasise that people with these conditions enjoy 'normal' pursuits like the rest of us.

Meanwhile the football magazines are a veritable feast for Town fans at the moment. Match of the Day magazine features Jimmy Hill talking to David Sheepshanks while '10 minutes with Matt Holland' asks him to describe God and how often he cries.

Four Four Two has an article entitled: 'Whatever happened to Norwich City? From the San Siro to the foot of the First Division, how did it happen?'. This piece proved particularly entertaining reading. Also included in this issue is a piece about Bobby Robson: 'Robson's Choice: The grand old man of football picks his favourite strikers.' Paul Mariner is one of his choices.
