Town Receive Bent Cash - Ipswich Town News
The Blues are set to receive a six-figure windfall with Marcus Bent reported to have joined Charlton from Everton for £2.5 million. Town negotiated a sell-on clause in the deal which saw the much-travelled striker leave Portman Road for a fee of £450,000 in the summer of 2004.
Town's precise percentage of Everton's profit on any future transfer has never been made public but it is likely to be in the area of 10-15%.
