Chili Peppers at Town - Ipswich Town News
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are reported to be one of two acts being lined up to play at Portman Road this summer. There is as yet no confirmation of the concert but there have been rumours on the TWTD Message Board for some months that the veteran rockers will be at Town.
The club have been close to announcing the identity of one of the bands playing this year for several months and are just awaiting final confirmation.
Last summer, REM and Neil Diamond were at Portman Road, while Elton John played the previous summer.
Bon Jovi were due to play a third concert in 2005 but in the end didn't tour. They could well be the other act in the frame this year.
