U18s Draw, U16s Win - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s drew 3-3 with Crystal Palace at Playford Road on Saturday morning. At the same, the U16s went goal crazy, defeating the Eagles 5-1 at the same venue.
Darryl Knights, Jack Haverson and Charlie Sheringham (pen) netted for the U18s, while Jordan Rhodes (2), Jack Ainsley (2) and Joe Bloomfield scored for the U16s.
The U18s were without Icelandic keeper Ã"skar Pétursson who was suspended after his recent red card at West Ham, Liam Barrett who has had his second knee operation of the season and Ed Upson who is away with the England U17s.
