Latics Horlock Bid Fails - Ipswich Town News
Oldham Athletic have given up on their attempt to sign Town midfielder Kevin Horlock. The 33-year-old has been told he has no future at Portman Road when his contract ends in June.
Latics boss Ronnie Moore said: "We looked into signing Horlock, but he was just out of our price range. But that is the sort of player we are looking to bring in."
Championship side Millwall have also been linked with the former Swindon, Manchester City and West Ham man.
Meanwhile, Colchester have denied rumours claiming they would be interested in a groundshare with the Blues if they are promoted this season: "There are no plans, nor have there ever been any, to approach Ipswich Town with a view to sharing their stadium."
