Town Offered Moore - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle has revealed that he recently turned down the chance to sign Leeds striker Ian Moore. The former Burnley man was previously a Town loan target in September.
Then the Whites wouldn't allow him to leave, but Royle says he is no longer interested in the 29-year-old: "We were offered Moore but we now have Alan Lee, who I'm more than happy with. We have got Adam Proudlock back in the squad after coming back from injury, we have young Danny Haynes and Dean McDonald eager to play and Sam Parkin is getting closer."
Moore is likely to be among the Leeds substitutes when the sides meet at Portman Road this evening.
