Sponsor Name Change - Ipswich Town News
Town's shirts will bear the name E.On next season and not Powergen if the electricity supplier renews their club sponsorship. The Powergen brand is being replaced by E.On, the name of the Germany-based parent company.
The Blues are already in talks with E.On, the new sponsors of the FA Cup, over continuing their shirt sponsorship when their current contract is up at the end of the season. The club is confident that the FA Cup sponsorship will have no effect on their deal.
Town's shirts and shorts could also bear additional sponsors' names next season. Changes to Football League rules last season allow advertising on the back of shorts and above players' names on shirts.
