U16s Thrash Addicks - Ipswich Town News
Town's U16s were in the goals again on Saturday morning, beating Charlton 5-2 at their Sparrows Lane training ground. It was the youngsters' second five-goal haul in two weeks, Crystal Palace having left Playford Road on the end of a 5-1 hammering a fortnight ago.
Striker Jordan Rhodes, son of keeper-coach Andy, netted a hat-trick, while man of the match Edward Upson, just back from an England U17 training camp in Spain, scored the other two.
