Youngsters Owen Garvan and Scott Barron are reported to have been offered new deals at Portman Road. Yesterday news broke of contract offers for Jason De Vos, Fabian Wilnis and Matt Richards.
Manager Joe Royle says David Sheepshanks is negotiating the deals: "The chairman is in talks with all the players' agents and I'm happy to leave all the discussions up to him."
De Vos, who is expected to take over as captain when Jim Magilton leaves at the end of the season, has confirmed that he will be signing the extension to his current terms which will keep him at the club until 2008.
