Yeovil Confirm Enquiry - Ipswich Town News
Yeovil manager Steve Thompson has confirmed that he has enquired about Town midfielder Kevin Horlock. The 33-year-old midfielder is available on a free transfer or loan after being told he will not be offered a new deal in the summer.
Thompson said: "I have made enquiries about Kevin Horlock but he missed a reserves game this week with an ankle injury.
"I am making enquiries about a lot of players - central defenders, central midfielders and strikers. I had hoped to get someone in on loan by the weekend but it is now looking less likely."
Town have confirmed that they have had an offer to pay part of Horlock's wages while he is on loan from an unnamed club but have so far turned it down.
Joe Royle has said on a number of occasions that the former Manchester City, Swindon and West Ham man remains in his plans while he is at Portman Road.
