Icelanders on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Striker Viktor Unnar Illugason is one of two Icelandic youngsters who have joined the Town academy on a week's trial. The 15-year-old U17 international has had several previous spells with the Blues, although recent reports in Iceland claimed he was close to signing scholarship forms with Championship leaders Reading.
Illugason, currently with his home town side Breidablik, is an international team-mate of Town academy first-year scholars Björn Orri Hermannsson and Ã"skar Pétursson.
The other trialist is 14-year-old keeper Alexander Már Steinarsson who is with the Reykjavik club Fylkir.
