Currie for Scotland? - Ipswich Town News
Scotland are reported to be considering calling up Town midfielder Darren Currie. Londoner Currie, 31, qualifies for the Scots through the grandparents rule.
Currie's uncle, former Watford, QPR, Sheffield United, Leeds and Torquay midfield maverick Tony, won 17 caps for England in the seventies.
Currie junior's Town team-mate Sam Parkin also qualifies for Scotland, via his Dundee-born mother. The frontman played in a Scotland Future side last season while with Swindon.
