Town should have Ricardo Fuller in the squad for Saturday's trip to Wolves but have injury concerns regarding Sito (knee), Fabian Wilnis (ribs) and Jimmy Juan (heel). Alan Lee (hamstring), Gavin Williams (knee, shin and ankle) and Danny Haynes (ankle) are all still sidelined.
Sito and Juan are expected to be OK to take on Glenn Hoddle's side and, while Wilnis has improved since Tuesday night, he is the biggest worry of the three.
Fuller is expected to arrive and officially sign on at Portman Road on Friday morning, the clubs having agreed the move and Town having settled a deal with the Jamaican international's agent.
Alan Lee is expected to be out of action for around three weeks after slightly tearing his hamstring at Crewe. Gavin Williams's knee problem has undergone a scan and Town will know the results by the end of the week.
Striker Sam Parkin's progress has stalled after his broken ankle and he could also have a scan if he fails to get back on track in the next week or so. Fellow frontman Adam Proudlock is not yet ready after his recent knee problem.
Fuller's likely addition to the Town squad will see Richard Naylor go back into central defence. Wilnis could switch back to right-back, although Sito's impressive performances in the last two games may see him keep his place, particularly if the Dutchman is considered a risk with his injury.
Shane Supple will stay in goal, while fellow Irishman Owen Garvan is set for a return to the midfield after a one-game ban for reaching five bookings. Ian Westlake could be the midfielder dropping to the bench, depending on how Joe Royle sees his attacking options.
Darren Currie could again be used between the main striker, in this case Fuller, and a midfield four, or Dean McDonald may have done enough to convince his manager with his goalscoring display from the bench at Crewe.
Royle says that Wolves are currently underachieving: "They will feel they should be doing better than they are and it seems to be hard for them at times in front of their own fans, but as always it's about us and how we play.
"I think we can go anywhere with confidence, but we're not in a position where we can look too long term.
"We're certainly in with a chance as far as the play-offs are concerned and we have made up a little bit of ground. There are still plenty of games to be played and we've got to keep winning."
Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle is under a bit of pressure as his side look to reach the play-offs but says it comes with the territory: "I've been in a situation like this before and the performance from everyone in that dressing room [at Burnley on Tuesday] was proof that we have not given up the ghost.
"We are still looking to go on a run and there are 13 matches left. There is a long way to go still.
"We had a terrific result last night and we need to build on it — but we've said that before and not done it.
"It was nice to get back to winning ways because that will give everyone a lift. I said before the game that confidence wasn't too low because we hadn't just lost three matches.
"As that performance proves, confidence is still relatively high and that result will give us even more confidence going into the Ipswich game."
Wolves have injury concerns over Mark Kennedy (hamstring), Paul Ince (also hamstring) and Rob Edwards (groin), although Lee Naylor is fit after his hamstring problem. Gabor Gyepes is a long-term absentee along with George Ndah and Jackie McNamara.
Saturday's referee is Andy Woolmer from Northamptonshire who has shown a formidable 101 yellow and nine red cards in 31 matches this season. Woolmer refereed the 2-0 home defeats by Yeovil and Crystal Palace earlier in the season, booking two players in the Glovers game and nine in the match with the Eagles, when he also red-carded two Palace players.
