Kanu Asked Back - Ipswich Town News
Trialist Henry Kanu has been asked back to Portman Road next week after impressing Joe Royle in over the last couple of days. The Nigerian joined the Blues on Thursday on the recommendation of former midfielder Colin Viljoen.
Royle told the club site that Kanu, the half-brother of West Brom's Nwankwo Kanu, will be spending longer with the club: "Henry will be going home for the weekend and then will come back and train with the players for a few days next week.
"I've not had that much time to watch him but, from what I've seen and heard from the coaching staff, he has done enough to warrant a closer look next week and then we'll take it from there."
