Burley on Player Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town manager George Burley has commented on the bid tabled for a Premiership player. As you'd expect not much was given away by the Blues' boss, but make of it what you will.
He said: "I will not disclose which player or which club, purely that we have put a bid into a Premiership club. We have been watching this player for some time and I firmly believe that he can add to the quality of what is a very talent and professional squad. I can make no further comment than this until we receive feedback from the player's club."
