!!! Support Chilis - Ipswich Town News
US seven-piece ensemble !!! (apparently pronounced Chk Chk Chk or "by repeating any three repetitive, monosyllabic sounds") have been announced as one of the bands supporting The Red Hot Chili Peppers when they play at Portman Road on June 30th.
!!!'s aim is to make live dance music, one review describing it as having been "bred in the indie rock scene but aspiring to a deeper kind of funkiness than their dance-punk peers."
The name came from the subtitling to the film The Gods Must Be Crazy, where three clicking sounds of the mouth were represented as !!!.
Tickets for the concert are available here.
