Reserves Face Saints - Ipswich Town News

Town's reserves take on Southampton this evening at the Saints' Staplewood training ground (KO 7pm). It'll be a case of déjà vu for some of the younger players who were at the same venue with the U18s on Saturday.

Striker Adam Proudlock is the only senior player involved in Steve McCall's squad, hit by the current injury problems.

Vemund Brekke Skard continues his adjustment to English football, while Gerard Nash is back after his recent injury.

Lewis Price is away with Wales and likely to play in their friendly with Paraguay at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday and Woodbridge Town stopper Marcus Garnham steps in as he did earlier in the season.

Jaime Peters is missing due to the knee injury he sustained at Wolves but is likely to be back in training later in the week.

Admission to the game is free, although Southampton are stipulating that children must be accompanied by an adult and that parking is very limited.

Reserves: Marcus Garnham, Sammy Moore, Stuart Ainsley, Vemund Brekke Skard, Gerard Nash, Russell Short, Cathal Lordan, Liam Trotter, Billy Clarke, Adam Proudlock, Darryl Knights. Subs: Kieran Leabon, Luke Webster, Ian Nimmo, Charlie Sheringham.
