Royle Set for Award? - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle is in the running for the February Manager of the Month award. The Blues boss is up against Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell, Watford's Adrian Boothroyd and Crystal Palace's Iain Dowie.
Town won all but one of their five games during February, putting themselves in the frame for a later play-off push.
Meanwhile, Royle has denied the improper conduct made against him by the FA for an incident involving the fourth official after the controversial penalty during the home game with Leeds. The Town boss has requested a personal hearing.
