Bent to Win Cap - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Darren Bent will make his England debut in Wednesday night's friendly against Uruguay at Anfield. Head coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has not yet named his side but revealed that the Charlton frontman will play some role against the South Americans.
Town will not profit from Bent making his full England debut as the international top-ups included in the deal which took him to the Valley last summer only apply to caps won in competitive matches.
