Garvan: I Want to Stay - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Owen Garvan has confirmed that he has no plans to leave Portman Road in the short term. The Irishman is keen to remain with the Blues and push them into the Premiership and beyond.
Garvan said: "I want to stay and make Ipswich a force in the Premiership again.
"It seems a while ago now when Ipswich finished fifth in the top flight and were mixing it in the UEFA Cup with the best sides in Europe.
"To repeat that would be a huge achievement, but with the management and players we have it can be done.
"I see myself staying with Ipswich for many years yet. They gave me my chance and have given me a perfect football education - as well as looking after me so well since I left Dublin."
Garvan, 18, has made 20 starts and four substitute appearances, scoring two goals, having made his first team debut on the opening day of the season at home to Cardiff City.
