McEveley in Squad - Ipswich Town News
Defender Jay McEveley is the surprise inclusion in Town's squad for Saturday's game at Preston. Joe Royle has named an 18-man party for the trip to Deepdale.
McEveley, on a season-long loan from Blackburn, returned to the club recently as he continued his recovery from the medial ligament injury he sustained at Cardiff in November, but was not expected to be in contention for a first team place for another couple of weeks.
Town are waiting on the fitness of Alan Lee, Fabian Wilnis and Jimmy Juan, all of whom will have fitness tests on the day of the game.
Squad: Barron, Currie, De Vos, Garvan, Haynes, Juan, Lee, Magilton, McDonald, McEveley, Naylor, Price, Richards, Sito, Skard, Supple, Westlake,
Wilnis.
