Latics Now Want Jim - Ipswich Town News
Oldham manager Ronnie Moore has revealed that he made an enquiry regarding Town skipper Jim Magilton last month. Only yesterday Moore said he was keen to make another attempt to sign Kevin Horlock who is currently on loan with Doncaster.
Moore says he made the enquiry when Joe Royle was back at his former club for the launch of the Latics' new stadium proposal: "I asked about the player but everything is geared to getting one out before we can get one in.
"At the moment we just have to sit tight and a lot will depend on how we do in the league.
"If we can get a decent March and are still in with a shout [of the play-offs] then I'm sure one or two things will happen."
