Król on Trial - Ipswich Town News

Town are taking Polish U19 international central defender Paweł Król on trial. The 18-year-old currently plays for Górnik Zabrze in his home country.

Król spent last season on loan at GKS Katowice and has made 13 senior appearances in his career so far.

Last month Król was strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, while Widzew Lodz, one of Town's opponents on the way to the 1981 UEFA Cup, were also reported to be interested.

Górnik are understood to want a fee for Król's services should any of the interested parties choose to sign him.
