Lee Set to Return - Ipswich Town News

Striker Alan Lee is expected to be back in the Town line-up when Millwall visit Portman Road on Saturday. Lee has been out of action since limping off in the first half at Crewe last month.

Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Alan was in the 18 for the Preston game but he wouldn't have been risked.

"He's making good progress this week though, and worked hard today without any reaction in the hamstring.

"If all goes well, he should be back in full training on Thursday and, hopefully, OK to play against Millwall at the weekend."

Town would have used Richard Naylor up front against the Lilywhites had the game gone ahead with Lee not quite ready and Ricardo Fuller suspended for reaching five bookings.

The postponement of the game at Deepdale means that the Jamaican will now serve his one-match ban this weekend.
