Parkin Progressing - Ipswich Town News
Frontman Sam Parkin is expected to be back in training next week as he continues his recovery from his broken ankle. The summer £450,000 signing from Swindon was close to reserves action a month ago but his progress stalled.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Sam had a rest for a week or so and then had an injection into the tendon to try and help settle things down in the ankle area.
"He has been doing some swimming this week and spending time in the gym and is moving forward.
"Hopefully, he will be back outside and doing some form of training next week, but at this moment we are taking it one stage at a time."
