Collins Returns From Loan - Ipswich Town News

Central defender Aidan Collins has returned from his loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers. Collins, who spent two months at the Causeway Stadium, has been told that his contract at Town will not be renewed at the end of the season and that he is free to find another club.

The 19-year-old made three starts and two sub appearances in his time with John Gorman's side, scoring on his debut against Notts County.

Fellow Town man Dean Bowditch remains with the Chairboys and played 62 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 victory over Shrewsbury in which former Blue Matt Bloomfield scored.

Bowditch has made seven starts and two sub appearances, scoring one goal, while at the Causeway Stadium and is in his second month on loan.

Elsewhere, Kevin Horlock made his seventh loan appearance for Doncaster Rovers as they drew 1-1 at home to Port Vale on Saturday. Horlock is in his second month at the Earth Stadium and has been offered a two-year deal by manager Dave Penney but is considering other offers, including one from New Zealand.

Town have a 24-hour recall on the 33-year-old should their midfield be hit by injuries.
